MALAYSIA EXPATRIATE TALENT SERVICE CENTRE (MYXPATS): HELP US TO IMPROVE OUR SERVICES AND YOUR CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

We are pleased to share that the Malaysia Expatriate Talent Service Centre (MYXpats Centre) is running a customer experience survey from 16 April to 16 May 2022. Through this survey, we aim to obtain your feedback regarding your experiences with MYXpats Centre. The survey results will be used for us to further improve on our existing services, practices, and processes.

MYXPATS CENTRE HARI RAYA 2022 OPERATING HOURS

In conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festivities, we wish to inform that the MYXpats Centre (Surian Tower and Penang) will be closed on Tuesday, 3 May 2022 and Wednesday, 4 May 2022. During this period, the MYXpats Centre counter, telephone and email services will not be available to clients.

UPDATED: VACCINATED TRAVEL LANE (VTL) BY AIR BETWEEN SINGAPORE, THAILAND, CAMBODIA, AND MALAYSIA

Referring to the announcement made on 16 February 2022, VTL is a programme introduced by the Ministry of Transport Malaysia to allow fully vaccinated travellers from one country to enter into another country without quarantine subject to COVID-19 testing and further requirements determined by the country of destination.

MALAYSIA - RE-OPENING OF INTERNATIONAL BORDERS ON 1 APRIL 2022

VACCINATED TRAVEL LANE (VTL) BY AIR BETWEEN SINGAPORE AND MALAYSIA

We refer to the press release issued by the Ministry of Transport (MOT) Malaysia dated 29 November 2021 where the Government announced the launch of the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) programme by air from Singapore to Malaysia. The VTL programme is subject to the requirements set by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM).

UPDATE E-SSM IN THE EXPATRIATE SERVICES DIVISION (ESD) SYSTEM

We refer to the announcement made on 21 March 2017. Kindly note that companies need to update their e-SSM in the ESD system on a yearly basis. If there is a change in the information (Address/ Director/ Shareholder), companies must update the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) before purchasing the e-SSM from e-Info in the ESD system.

EXEMPTION OF THE MYENTRY/ MYTRAVELPASS PERMISSION ENTERING MALAYSIA

Please be informed that the Immigration Department of Malaysia has made the decision to allow the exemption for those who have obtained pass approval applications to enter Malaysia for expatriates and their dependants, including foreign maids. This exemption is to take effect immediately.

UPDATED: IMPLEMENTATION OF MYVISA (EVISA) FACILITY FOR ALL COUNTRIES ENTERING MALAYSIA

Please be informed that effective 15 November 2021, the use of the MYVisa system (eVISA) has been extended to all the respective nationalities and made compulsory by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. The applicant will need to apply for the Visa with Reference (VDR) through MYVisa system (eVISA)/ Embassy/ High Commission/ Consulate General of Malaysia in their respective countries.
