ENHANCEMENT OF PROJECTION REQUIREMENT FOR EXPATRIATE MANAGEMENT ON ESD ONLINE PLATFORM

Dear Valued Clients,
Effective 1 April 2023, please be informed that the process for projection requests will be simplified and be instantly successful. The company is still required to apply for a projection on expatriates for the current year. The projection is based on the number of expatriates that has been identified, including existing expatriates for renewals and new hires.
To apply for the projection, please refer to the following steps:
i. Log in to your ESD account and click "Applications".
ii. Click "Projection" (located in the "Setting" tab on the left column of the screen)
iii. Select "Projection Year"
iv. Request "New Projection"
(Note: Justification for Projection, Numbers of Local Staff and Foreign Worker (Pekerja Asing) are mandatory)
For applications submitted prior to 1 April 2023 that have yet to receive a decision following the implementation of the new process, the company may re-submit the projection request.

IMPORTANT:
Any unutilised projection WILL NOT BE carried over to the next year. We advise all our clients to plan and apply your projection requests ahead of time to avoid any delays in the submission of your applications.
