In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, please be informed of the revised operating hours of the MYXpats Centre. We would like to take this opportunity to wish our Muslim clients and partners a blessed and peaceful Ramadan.
As announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) on 14 January 2026, the revised Employment Pass Salary Policy will be implemented with effect from 1 June 2026. The revised policy includes updates to the minimum salary thresholds for Employment Pass (EP) Categories I, II, and III, as well as a structured employment duration framework.
The 1:3 Internship Policy, which was announced by the Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA) on 15 January 2025 as part of Malaysia's broader efforts to build a future-ready, skills-based talent ecosystem and to strengthen industry participation in developing local talent, links expatriate hiring to local talent development by requiring employers to offer three (3) structured and paid internship placements under the National Structured Internship Programme (MySIP) for every one (1) expatriate hired. We are pleased to inform that the pilot phase of the 1:3 Internship Policy, originally scheduled to conclude on 31 December 2025, has been extended until 31 March 2026.
