PROJECTION REQUIREMENT

Please be informed that companies registered in the ESD online portal will need to ensure that their company details (listed below) have been updated before the projection application of expatriates for Employment Pass (EP) and Professional Visit Pass (PVP) to avoid application to be returned due to incomplete/outdated information. Below are the details:

1. e-SSM is updated (Current year)

2. Latest justification on the need of expatriates (new or renewal for current year)

1. Name and nationality for each expatriate
2. Position
3. Basic salary (Per month in Ringgit Malaysia
4. Duration of project / Assignment / Contract
5. Job Description
6. Reasons of hiring expatriate instead of local for particular position
7. New / renewal application

3. Supporting documents (If applicable):

1. Contracts
2. Letter of Awards
3. CIDB licence for new project
4. Any supporting documents that would support and justify the need of the expatriate for the year requested.

To apply for the projection:

Please take note that decision for your projection request will be made within 5-10 working days. Hence, please plan and apply ahead of time to avoid any delay in the submission of your applications due to pending/unavailability of projection approval.
