PRIVATE EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION (MOHE) TO INITIATE EMPLOYMENT PASS APPLICATIONS VIA XPATS GATEWAY

Dear Valued Clients,

We are pleased to announce that effective 10 July 2024, all registered private education institutions that require Supporting Letters from MOHE in applying for new and renewal Employment Pass (EP) must submit their applications through the Xpats Gateway at https://xpatsgateway.com.my/.

The following steps are:

  1. Login to the e-IPTS system (https://eipts.mohe.gov.my).
    Note: Please ensure registered expatriate teaching staff fill in all mandatory information in the e-IPTS system.
  2. Company login Xpats Gateway using the same login credentials as the ESD Online to request a Support Letter from MOHE.
  3. Once obtaining a Support Letter from MOHE, please proceed to apply for an Employment Pass (EP) via the ESD Online (https://esd.imi.gov.my).
