INCREASE IN SALES AND SERVICE TAX (SST) RATE EFFECTIVE 1 MARCH 2024

With reference to the announcement made by the Royal Malaysian Customs Department, the Sales and Service Tax (SST) rate will increase from 6% to 8% effective 1 March 2024, which applies to the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) Application fee for all types of passes.
Please be advised that the revised SST rate will be reflected in the following structure:

| Employment Pass (EP) | RM800 | RM864 |
| Professional Visit Pass (PVP) | RM800 | RM864 |
| Dependant Pass (DP) / Long Term Social Visit Pass (LT-SVP) | RM450 | RM486 |
