  • INTRODUCTION OF ELECTRONIC PASS (ePASS) FOR RENEWAL OF EMPLOYMENT PASS AND ITS RELATED PASSES

    In line with the Government's aspiration towards digitalisation, effective 1 December 2022, the Immigration Department of Malaysia is pleased to introduce a new featured document known as the ePASS for Employment Pass and its related passes for RENEWAL purposes. The company assigned may sign into the ESD Online System (esd.imi.gov.my) to download the said Employment Pass and its related passes as an ePASS.

    We are upgrading our online credit card payment facilities to a new system with enhanced security protocol and features. This task is expected to complete by the 4th of November 2022. In the meantime, FPX payment service for B2C is still available and can be used to make payment.

If there is a change in the information (Address/ Director/ Shareholder), companies must update the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) before purchasing the e-SSM from e-Info in the ESD system.

  • UPDATED: IMPLEMENTATION OF MYVISA (EVISA) FACILITY FOR ALL COUNTRIES ENTERING MALAYSIA

    Please be informed that effective 15 November 2021, the use of the MYVisa system (eVISA) has been extended to all the respective nationalities and made compulsory by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. The applicant will need to apply for the Visa with Reference (VDR) through MYVisa system (eVISA)/ Embassy/ High Commission/ Consulate General of Malaysia in their respective countries.
