IMMIGRATION REGULATION ON SOCIAL VISIT PASS (LONG TERM) APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN ABOVE 18 YEARS OLD

With immediate effect, , Immigration Department of Malaysia has set an age limit to apply for the Social Visit Pass (Long Term) for children above 18 years old. Please see details as below:

Above 18 years old - 25 years old ONLY (except for Children with Disabilities).

Additional document to be provided is a letter from Commissioner of Oaths with regard to latest status (single, unemployed and under custodian of the Employment Pass holder) is required for every submission of Social Visit Pass (Long Term) including renewal cases.

Note: Documents checklist MUST be in accordance with the checklist issued by the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Failure to provide complete documents as per checklist will result to your application to be denied. Please refer to ESD Guidebook for more information.
